Beautifully made product but issues with fit, communication

The outer dress was perfect. I’m a pretty standard US size 14 and it was a little snug, but it should have been anyway. The sleeves were weirdly too big around the forearms, making the cuffs weighed down by the buttons kind of floppy and awkward. The underthings (petticoat and white eyelet top) disappointingly did not fit me at all, and communication difficulties with the maker have made exchanging them for ones that do fit nearly impossible so far.
